"Hives of Corruption" — Major Drug Ring Busted in Fairfax County Vape Shops
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis didn't mince words this week, describing local vape shops as "hives of corruption" following a massive multi-agency raid. A months-long investigation has culminated in the dismantling of a regional drug trafficking organization that allegedly used seemingly ordinary "Tobacco King" and other vape storefronts to funnel illegal drugs to minors. On March 18, detectives from the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau executed search warrants at 20 locations across Fairfax and Prince William Counties.
